It will become the company\u2019s largest terminal, consolidating operations currently spread across three separate locations in Vilnius.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The total investment in the land, construction of the building, operational setup, and a modern conveyor system amounts to \u20ac16 million. The project is being implemented by logistics real estate developer Sirin Development, with whom Venipak has signed a long-term lease agreement. Operations at the new terminal are planned to commence in the first half of 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Venipak CEO Andrius Ladauskas, this terminal represents a significant qualitative leap in the company\u2019s infrastructure development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cVilnius is one of our key operational regions, and we aim to ensure maximum efficiency here. Relocating to a single, purpose-built terminal tailored to our business needs will not only significantly increase parcel throughput but also streamline internal processes, enabling faster deliveries in the Vilnius region. This will be a modern terminal designed specifically for our business, with a strong focus not only on efficiency but also on improved working conditions for our employees,\u201d says A. Ladauskas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 13,500 sq. m terminal will be located at Pripet\u0117s St. 1 in Vilnius, within the Liepkalnis logistics park. It will feature 24 docking gates for trucks and approximately 70 gates for vans. The facility will be equipped with a modern parcel sorting conveyor capable of processing around 5,000\u20136,000 parcels per hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A Project Tailored for Business Needs<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are implementing this project under a built-to-suit model, which allows us as developers to tailor technical solutions to the client\u2019s specific automation and flow management requirements. Our goal is to create infrastructure that enables Venipak to consolidate operations into a single hub and significantly simplify processes,\u201d says Laurynas Kuzavas, CEO of Sirin Development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He adds that all projects developed by the company meet A++ energy efficiency standards and incorporate sustainable engineering solutions ensuring minimal energy consumption. Integrated EV charging infrastructure and full technical readiness for robotics and artificial intelligence solutions will ensure the terminal remains competitive in the long term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLiepkalnis is one of the most in-demand logistics locations in Vilnius. Modern infrastructure and strategic connections to major roads not only optimize logistics flows but also create high added value for employees. In this project, we place strong emphasis on employee well-being \u2014 convenient access to the city and a modern working environment are key factors in attracting and retaining talent. Venipak already operates in our logistics parks in Riga and Kaunas, and the decision to expand in Vilnius is a strong validation of our built-to-suit expertise and the value we create,\u201d notes L. Kuzavas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Construction Already Underway<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Construction is scheduled to begin in the second to third quarters of 2026, with relocation to the new terminal planned for the end of the first quarter of 2027. The facility will accommodate approximately 150 to 200 employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year, Venipak also opened a new 11,000 sq. m terminal in Kaunas at the Kumpiai logistics park developed by Sirin Development, which is currently the company\u2019s largest terminal. Up to 50,000 parcels are processed there daily, with around 100 trucks departing each night to destinations across the Baltic States and Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, Venipak operates a total of 25 logistics terminals, 12 of which are located across ten cities in Lithuania.
