With an investment of 19.5 million euros, the second phase of SIRIN Park Airport is completed
In the Baltics, logistics real estate developer SIRIN Development has completed the second phase of development of the logistics park SIRIN Park Airport, investing 19.5 million euros. The project includes the construction of a new warehouse complex with an area of 30,000 square meters, bringing the total area of the park to almost 60,000 square meters.
The first phase of SIRIN Park Airport was opened in March 2025, with the construction of 27,000 square meters of industrial and logistics space. Currently, more than 85% of the first phase of the space has been leased. The park is home to companies from various industries, including the aerospace and defense technology company “Redwire”, the electric car sales and service company “EV RIGA”, a padel tennis sports center, etc.
“We are not simply building new warehouses, but a modern industrial center where companies from various sectors will be able to develop and expand their operations. The results of the first round confirm that companies appreciate both the location of SIRIN Park Airport and the opportunity to adapt the premises and infrastructure to the specifics of their operations. In the second round, we have developed this flexibility even further so that the premises are suitable for both logistics and distribution of goods, as well as light manufacturing and technology companies,” says Gunita Vilcāne-Raboviča, a representative of SIRIN Development.
The new warehouse complex has improved cargo loading and unloading infrastructure, gate configurations adapted to the requirements of modern fleets and increased floor load-bearing capacity. The territory's infrastructure has also been improved to more effectively serve increased traffic flow and freight transport. The roof structure is prepared for the installation of solar energy solutions and the most energy-efficient construction solutions have been used in the premises.
“Companies today are looking for more than just square meters – location, efficient infrastructure and the ability to adapt premises to changing business needs are important to them. The proximity of Riga Airport, the city center and major transport routes makes SIRIN Park Airport a strategically advantageous location for both local and international companies. Our task is to create an environment in which companies can not only start operations, but also grow in the long term,” emphasizes G. Vilcāne-Raboviča.
The park's location near Riga Airport provides convenient connections to the center of Riga and major transport routes, opening up opportunities for both international transportation, regional logistics and last-mile deliveries. Another significant advantage is easy accessibility for employees from Riga and the surrounding areas.
The completion of the second phase is part of SIRIN Development’s long-term development in Latvia. The entry of new companies into the park will promote the creation of new jobs and provide modern infrastructure for local and international companies looking to expand their operations in Latvia.
In 2027, SIRIN Development plans to continue the development of SIRIN Park Airport, starting the construction of the third phase of the park. It is planned to continue the construction of high-class logistics warehouses and new business service spaces on the almost 22-hectare territory.
