The leading logistics real estate developer in the Baltics, SIRIN Development, has begun construction of the second phase of the logistics park “SIRIN Park Mārupe” in Grencu street near Riga International Airport and has also signed a cooperation agreement to lease office and warehouse space to one of the leading electric vehicle dealers in Latvia, EV RIGA.

The total investment in the construction of the second phase of the logistics park “SIRIN Park Mārupe” will reach 16 million euros, and the construction of the new premises with an area of 30,000 square meters is planned to be completed by the end of 2025. The new building will include both office and warehouse space, which are flexibly applicable to different tenants and operating models.

“SIRIN Development” Head of Commerce Division Lukasz Tomczyk: “Within the first phase, only approximately 10,000 square meters of space are freely available. Therefore, already now, by starting the construction of the second phase of the logistics park, we are looking ahead to the future to ensure the availability of high-standard infrastructure and appropriate space for future cooperation partners, who are already thinking about expanding or moving to modern premises. The advantages of the Mārupe logistics park are also confirmed by the successful cooperation with such innovative and rapidly growing companies as the drone manufacturer “Edge Autonomy” and the electric car distributor “EV Riga.”

Daniels Fonarjovs, CEO of EV Riga, says: “Moving to “SIRIN Park Mārupe” is an important step for EV RIGA, as it will allow us to create the largest electric car sales and after-sales complex in the Baltic States. The indoor complex is designed for car sales and includes a fully equipped car repair area, making it a hub for both electric car purchases and maintenance. The park’s strategic location near major roads ensures excellent accessibility for both our customers and partners. The park’s modern infrastructure and sustainable design perfectly align with our mission to promote the future of environmentally friendly mobility.”

“SIRIN Park Mārupe” is being built according to A++ energy efficiency standards and is a model for environmentally friendly engineering. The park integrates renewable energy systems, water-saving technologies, efficient heating and LED lighting, as well as CO₂ monitoring and BREEAM-compliant sanitation.

The first phase of the logistics park “SIRIN Park Mārupe” near Riga International Airport was opened in March 2025. Within its framework, warehouses with an area of 27,000 square meters were built and the total investment reached 20 million euros.

By 2025, SIRIN Development plans to invest a total of 76 million euros in all Baltic countries, including 41 million euros in Lithuania, 24 million euros in Latvia and 11 million euros in Estonia, thus strengthening the economic integration of the region.
